The Tomsk forum of University cities was included in the list of events of the Trianon dialogue for 2018, as many events of the forum correspond to the spirit of the main idea of the Russian-French platform of civil societies. Expert discussions of the track ” University and global social changes “at the forum reflected the key theme of the Trianon dialogue in 2018 – “the City of the future”.
The forum, which opened on November 28 in the scientific library of TSU, was attended by representatives of universities in France, the Netherlands, the UK and China, it was held with the support of the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation, the Tomsk administration, the French Embassy in Russia, Tomsk state University, the research Center of TSU “TRANS-Siberian scientific way” and other Russian and foreign partners.
Scientists Of the center for European studies of Tomsk state University (TSU) conducted a survey among European students who come to Tomsk to study, and found that they seek to Siberia for a scholarship, knowledge for subsequent employment and “some extreme”, said at the forum of University cities Director of the center Larisa Deriglazova.

More than 30 researchers and practitioners interested in digital brand management presented their reports in Russian and English. This year, the Conference became a part of the University Cities Forum; the theme of the Conference was Digital Place Brand Management: Global and Local Aspects.
